Blanking On A Black Planet

The title of the Porcupine Tree album "Fear of a Blank Planet" is a reference to the Public Enemy album "Fear of a Black Planet". While one tackled race issues, the other is about the fear of losing our youth to common threats to their mental and social wellbeing such as broken homes, excessive "screen time", and narcotic overuse to the point of mental and spiritual "blankness".

We must fill in the blanks with awareness, not ignorance and hatred.
